An elevated view into the spectacle scenebox part-way through construction. The foreground waves and cliff were sculpted by artist Linda Davy much the way de Loutherbourg would have done. The ship stands perched in the middle ground, the mechanism for moving the ship not yet in place. While de Loutherbourg used a painted cloth scrolling between vertical rollers for the background, we opt for the modern equivalent - a large LCD screen with a panning image.
