With the VR screen removed, we see the interior of the projection box. Two DLP projectors present coaligned left and right-eye stereo movies while a 45 degree deflecting mirror folds the beam path into the small enclosure space. From the virtual viewer's perspective, the images on the VR screen appear to float inside the spectacle scenebox.
